Joan of Arc - Maid of Heaven

The Song of Joan of Arc
By Christine de Pisan
Stanza 12

And what an honor for the French crown,
this proof of Divine intervention and
favor will give it a lasting renown.
For all the favors that He bestows on it
show how He finds more faith in the royal
house than anywhere receiving His grace.
I read (and this is not new) that the Lilies
of France never erred in matters of faith.
